Sally Bunce For Tees Valley Mayor

The Green Party has an excellent candidate, Sally Bunce, to stand in the upcoming Tees Valley Mayoral Election. This is due to take place on the 2nd of May 2024. The Tees Valley Mayor represents 670,000 people in five local authorities: Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, and Stockton-on-Tees.

Sally Bunce is a barmaid, mum of two, a former police officer, and a hardworking volunteer on many local projects. She fits her mayoral campaigning in around other volunteering roles including Education & Training Lead for Yorkshire Seal Group, Marine Mammal Medic, Women’s Street Watch Team Member, and Volunteer Lifeboat Crew Member with Runswick Bay Independent Rescue Boat.

Sally is not a suit-and-tie “party politician” who follows orders from a London-based head office. Instead, her different roles mean she understands the lives, hopes, dreams and worries of Teessiders from all walks of life. It shows she has the energy and determination to be a mayor who works hard for everyone.

We need to raise a £5,000 deposit required for Sally to stand (that’s the fee each candidate must pay to have their name on the ballot paper for this election). We are now just over half-way there. Please consider donating if you haven’t already, and encourage others to do so by sending them this link.
